I hope you enjoy these. Leave a comment if you do. If you do, maybe I'll send you a gift card. It's in the marketing budget.
I used to work at a television station and we had plenty of people cycle through there. One time this guy who was a host came in and we started to talk and it turned out he was roommates with an actual coach for the Tampa Bay Rays. They grew up together in Miami. So I talked to him and get around to asking him for tickets and he's like “oh you want some tickets? I'll get you some tickets. What day and team do you want”. It was close to Fathers day and the Red Sox were playing so he got me a few seats for me and my wife's Dad to go to the game. So we made plans but little did my F-I-L now that this guy had got us on field passes to watch batting practice before the game. So, for free, we got to watch the Red Sox take batting practice ON THE FIELD as a Fathers day gift to my Father In Law. I didn't tell him before we went in and we had to go in this special entrance then go through security and all this stuff so when we finally walked out on the field I think it was like the shock of a lifetime. One of the best parts of that day was David Ortiz AKA “Big Papi” a megastar for the Red Sox was on his farewell tour because it was his last season and they let him use an aluminum (instead of the normal wooden) bat to hit home runs. If you know about baseball you know this is like letting someone use a gun in an arrow shooting duel. He hit home runs further than anyone I've ever seen. It was quite the spectacle. Then the coach came and talked to us personally, it was great. One of my greatest baseball memories with one of the greatest men I've ever known.
The Artwork-I'm not quite sure who this guy is. I've seen him on tv, he's like this two dimensional figure who plays a police officer. I think he witnessed some stuff so now he has to go to therapy. But he looks cool. Nice hat, bent arms, nice police colors, and a nice smile. What else could you ask for?!?!?!
Day 14 of the elliptical-I went from 36 minutes to 38 minutes last night.
I stretched beforehand and can definitely tell the difference. Going for 40 minutes tonight.
