  • How long does it take to move a home?

    The best answer to this question is – it depends. There are many factors that influence how long your move will last. The weather, the distance, the size of your relocation etc.

  • When should I pay for moving services?

    Normally, after the relocation is finished. Anyway, we suggest contacting the movers and asking if they have a specific deadline.

  • When is the best time to move?

    There are two answers to this question.

    • If you want the best weather and full comfort for your move, summer is definitely the time when you should move.
    • If you want the best price for your move, then the off-­peak season is the recommended time for your move. For moving, the off-­peak season is winter.

  • When should I hire a moving company?

    To make sure you’ll be able to hire the best movers and to get the best price, hire a moving company at least a few months in advance.

Why Move With Us

Our movers are trained, respectful, clean-cut and will handle your belongings with care. They are all full-time employees- NO DAY LABORERS!!! 

 

All of our trucks are equipped with all the necessities such as blankets, dollies, pads, straps, shrinkwrap and much more to make sure all of your items arrive safely in the new location. We charge a flat hourly rate that is accurate down to the next quarter hour, so if we go 15 minutes into the next hour we don’t charge you for a full hour. 

 

Since we are locally owned and operated our pricing is much less when compared to the larger moving companies. We don’t have to pay franchise fees, so we are able to pay our clean cut movers more (and get quality employees) while passing the savings onto our loyal customers.

  • The Tim’s were great! Both movers names were Tim and they did a great job. We were moving from a 3 story Townhouse which meant a lot of stairs and turns. The Tim’s handled our stuff with care and it all got to our new place intact and pretty fast for having to maneuver the stairs. Would use Swift again and would recommend them to anybody looking for movers.
