The Goonies Got Something Wrong

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. I was watching the amazing 1980’s cultural juggernaut movie The Goonies the other day and noticed a pretty big plotpoint. Besides the 12 year old running through a 200 year old sewer to find a treasure that couldn't be found by the best treasure hunters in the world. At the end of the m,ovie they almost l;ose their homes but the maid finds a big bag of jewels that they Goonies didn't know they somehow hid from the bad guys. They dumped out the jewels and all their money problems are over. According to the context of the movies it was going to pay for everyone's house and they lived happily ever after. I used to sell jewelry and gemstones and what they had would not even come close to what they had in that bag. I'm sorry but it's true. There were big e,merals, aquamarines and some other stones. Now there were some giant clear/crystal stones ghat would cover everything if they were actual diamonds. But they were so big they would have to be the biggest diamonds in the history of the world. Or else they had to be quartz. I know this is controversial stuff but I'm taking a stand here. I said my piece and am ready for the blowback. Sorry to ruin your favorite childhood movie.

The Artwork-I don't know who this bunny is or where she came from. She looks pretty evil though. Those big menacing teeth and eyes make her look like she's ready to shred more than lettuce. I enjoyed drawing the overalls and the gloves came out nice. I do love her pink overalls. I hope you enjoy it!
