The Opening Statement of Why You Should Use Swift Moves

If you are reading this you have come to our website and are hopefully considering using Swift Moves as a moving company. Please read the next few paragraphs and maybe it will convince you we are your best bet when it comes to hiring a moving company. I hope to convince you we are a stand up company who keeps our commitments and takes a lot of pride in what we do. Please read, it's a weird shot in the dark. This part doesn't really have anything to do with  moving furniture but more with what type of people are running this great company.

I am not an artist. As of 1/3/2023 I had never drawn a picture in my entire life. Then one day I decided to teach myself to draw. For reference I'm in my 40’s (let's not get too specific with the age!) So everyday for one year I drew some type of picture. I did miss some days when I went out of town but I ended up drawing well over 325 pictures in 2023. It was a challenge. I'm also not a writer but then in 2024 I started a blog that I wrote one entry in everyday of 2024.  I made rules for myself for writing this blog. Nothing negative, nothing controversial, no religion or politics (I mean come on, it was 2024, I think I could have written everyday about politics!), light hearted stuff. And it had to be something people could read, not just a bunch of gibberish. I’m sure I made some spelling and grammar errors and I think I mis-labeled some dates but whatever.

I did an entry everyday in 2024 except for three weeks when the hurricane really messed some stuff up. These blogs were nothing special-just musings, moving tips, memories, funny and stupid anecdotes, a few giveaways, a few physical challenges for myself, lists and anything I could do to fill space with the written word. The first few months were ok but it gets hard to think of something to write about every...single...day.  Everyday of 2024 I included a picture from the previous year that had had drawn and did a little explanation of the picture. So yeah maybe subconsciously I did a year's worth of writing to show off my new drawing skills. I must say if you look at my first day of drawing compared to my 300th day of drawing there is a pretty big improvement. I drew mostly cartoon characters.

I not a social media expert (I am an expert in moving furniture) I'm not going to get a million likes or shares. I didn't do this for likes or shares or links to other pages; I only did it for you reading this and any other future clients of Swift Moves. I did it to prove to you once I (we) say we are going to do something, we are going to do it. If we say we are going to show up at 900AM on Monday and do a great job, then we are going to show up at 900AM on Monday and do a great job. Two years ago I committed to a two year project that I had to work hard at and I think I came through. Other companies make videos saying how good they are, I sat down for over 700 days and completed a task to show you my commitment to excellence.  I really hope all this makes sense, it was a pretty big shot in the dark with hopes it may pay off two years down the road. I'll be pretty deflated if this doesn't convince a few people to use Swift Moves. I did a few giveaways that no one actually claimed so I will be continuing to move the prizes around to different dates, if you find it just call in and we will award the prize.
