There Would Be Lots Of Weird Noises

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. Warning-There are small spoilers for the Netflix show Squid Games in this post. Nothing too bad, but don't read further if you don't want to find out some very small plot points. 

I watched the new season of Squid Games last night, it's the show that took over the world a year or two ago about some sadistic games rich people made poor people play with death looming over the losers. It's a good show made in  South Korea but with English subtitles and voice overs. The point of this post is during parts of the games everyone has to sleep in one big dorm. There's like 400 people sleeping in one big room. The camera pans over everyone and they are all fast asleep and this is where I find part of it the most unrealistic. 400 people all sound asleep. The flaw in this is with 400 people there would be lots of snoring-lots. A quick Google search says on the low end 25% of people snore at night. So you would have 100 different people snoring-it would be extremely loud. My wife would say if they are anything like me the roof would come off the place and the building would come off of the foundation because 100 people snoring as loud as me would be almost a tornado like sound. So she says. I never hear myself snore. 

Not to mention all the people who would be constantly getting up to use the restroom. With 400 people you figured there would be people constantly walking to and from the restrooms and this would get really loud. There would be lots of weird noises throughout the night. So to recap-rich business men kidnapping down on their luck people, taking them to a secret island, forcing them to play to the death and no one finding out-conceivably.  400m people sleeping in one dorm with no snoring-there's no way, very unbelievable. 

The Artwork-I liked this one. I'm not exactly sure who it is, the name Ben comes to mind for some reason.  It is different from the usual ones I did, it's more sharp without as many bubbly rounded edges. More of a human feel rather than a cartoon. I like those jagged hands, cut jawline and well defined facial features. Lots of brown hair. I loved drawing the number “10” on his Jersey because it had to keep a rounded feel to stay with the way his chest was sticking out and I love his watch. I hope you enjoy it!
