Busy, Busy, Busy

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know,this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.

Busy, busy, busy. Between this home show this weekend and the four day 8 guy two truck job I had to help with last week, this has been one of the busiest weeks I've had in a year or two. Don't get me wrong, I always bust but I've been out in the field helping “supervise” jobs. Our guys are more than capable but these events and jobs just happened to be some pretty big things and I was really happy to jump in and start sweating a little. Next week is no different. We are moving to a school. A SCHOOL! It's going to take some time but I can't wait. It's something different than when I used to and it's going to be challenging and fun. I love it. I love when we know we have a close deadline and this has to happened so that has to happen and if we're ten minutes late were in trouble or if this variables goes wrong then this other thing goes worse. Its stress that I love.

The Artwork-I'm kind of conflicted on this one. On one side it's a Storm Trooper so it's cool but the proportions are a little off. He is a little wider than he should be. Overall I think the drawing is not that bad. The lines and shadows are where they should be and his hand looks good but the helmet is a little wide. Oh well, I enjoyed drawing him. I hope you enjoy it! 

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible.
