I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.
This is kind of related to the post I did yesterday about never getting used to waking up and the Olympics all rolled up into one. Ive been watching the Olympics lately and these athletes practice all the time, for their entire life or at least three to four years for every Olympics-but they still get tired! Just like one would think that after waking up for over 40 years straight you could get used to waking up, you would think that after all that practice you wouldn't get tired, but they still do. After pretty much every single event (with the exception of maybe archery and shooting) the athletes are dog tired, they can barely stand up. I understand they are competing against not only themselves but also the best athletes in the world but you would figure they would build up an immunity to tiredness. Because normally if you do something thousands of times you get used to it (with exception of weakening up). Do I have a solution-not even close, I'm just typing to fill space. This is something that I was thinking about yesterday.
The Artwork-I have no idea where this one is from but he definitely looks evil. It's the evil red eye and the little void of color in his iris. Lots of black in this one but the little circles and bands of yellow make him look extra intimidating. I always liked when they were faced to the left or to the right because I had to draw the legs and feet in more of a three dimensional form, it's not straight ahead like the rest. I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win!
The total on 8/10/24 is $53.
