I Cant Stand the Rain

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in  a frame.

I don't use the word “hate” a lot because I believe it's a vile word and there's better adjectives I could use to convey my emotions but I do hate the rain. This really started when I became a mover. It's not themover worst enemy but it's up there. The rain is something we have to put up with that only makes our job harder to do plus it makes it a little more dangerous. We are a little bit lucky in the sense that we live in Florida and even though it may rain almost everyday of the Summer season it usually only lasts an hour at the most, but most of the time a lot less than that. The reason I bring this up is this morning when we first got here and we were getting all the trucks ready it was pouring. So we made our guys wait inside while the office staff got their trucks ready. We can always change clothes and the guys need to be dry to start their jobs. So we got all the trucks ready and then five minutes after all the crews got on the road and left it just stopped raining. If we would have waited another 20 minutes we would not have all been soaked!!! 

The Artwork- One of the original cartoons Betty Boop! She was one of the first cartoons that ran from 1930-1939. She's an OG. This is hands down one of my favorite drawings I did all year. There's not really a lack of color in this one like a few previous ones I did but it's more of a traditional black and white. Her hair is great, her eyes, mouth and nose tell a story, her earrings are on point, her hands look great, the dress is perfect and look at those gams!!! I'm proud of this one. I hope you enjoy!
