I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a free framed copy.
This is a post that's a little different and a bit darker than what I usually write but it's a follow up on something I wrote about like two days ago. Two days ago in my post I was wondering how anyone can get away with any type of crime in this day and age with all the technology. My argument was there are just too many cameras everywhere and technology makes it hard to commit any crime. Cut to yesterday when the CEO of a well known healthcare company was unfortunately un-alived with a pew-pew in the middle of Midtown Manhattan. It was all caught on camera. And they can't find the person who did it. He had on a hoodie, long pants and was pretty well covered up. You would figure someone on a crowded street with witnesses and cameras in pretty much one of the most crowded places on Earth would easily be caught but I guess not. I don't think it's law enforcement's fault or anything, I think it's just one of those one in a million things that someone gets away with. Temporarily I hope. I hope they catch whoever did this and put him away for a long time. Because no matter what the victim did it's not the responsibility for anyone else to dispense their own kind of vigilante justice, that's what the courts are for. The victim had a wife and two kids.
Sorry this was a little more morbid than usual but I thought it was weird how I was talking about this a few days ago and was kind of proven wrong; let's hope they catch the perp and I'm right.
The Artwork-Its cute little Rudolf the Red nosed Reindeer. A story of eight reindeer that treated the guy who looked different really horribly until they found out they could use him for something. It's a fairly basic drawing but it has nice parts like his cute bell, bright red nose and still new antlers. I like his smile and the color yellow. I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 12/5/24 is $174.
