I Love When Everyone gets Along

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know,this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.

Yesterday was The Fourth of July and I ended up going to a party with a childhood friend of my wifes that she recently got back in touch with. We're not huge partiers or anything but it was a nice party. We got there at 530 and left about 930 after the fireworks. There were a lot of people there, probably 50-60. The best part for me was during the fireworks. While they were shooting off these loud, bright amazing fireworks I looked around and noticed it was a nice, wide variety of people. There were black, white, blue, gay, straight, men, women, poor, rich and all sorts of people. But the entire time I was there I didn't hear one thing about politics or anything remotely controversial. No arguing, no being rude, just a bunch of Americans enjoying themselves. And that made me feel great. I'm so happy that people from all walks of life could come together and have a good time. That to me is America, that's what I grew up learning and still believe. When I was watching those fireworks going off and looking around at the great variety of people everyone had a smile on their face and seemed so happy. It was a nice day.

The Artwork-Its Pepe’ Le Pew from the Warner Brother cartoons. As a drawing I think this came out great. The proportions seem perfect, his smile and eyes give him this look of exactly who he was in the cartoons. I like this one. I hope you enjoy it!

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money.
