I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
Tomorrow is my son's 11th birthday and while I'm happy of course it's also kind of depressing. How is my youngest child 11 years old? I feel like yesterday he was this little bitty ball of skin and bones that could barely open his eyes and could not talk or walk. Where did the time go? I think ve talked about this before but man I'm getting to feel my age! Don't get me wrong, I'm happy and I'm happy to have made it to the ripe old age of 40 something but I can still get sad. I'm lucky that I've achieved most of the goals I set for myself about ten years ago but I still have more work to do. I still have one big goal in mid tat Ill keep to myself for now. Happy Birthday Maxwell!
The Artwork-For a second day in a row I have no clue who this is. To me it seems like a combination of Uncle Fester from the Adaama Family and a character from Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. Lots of black in this one. Notice the two black buttons on his all black jacket. The hands came out great and obviously my favorite part of this guy is the holes in his hand. I love that small bit of 3-D. I like this one. I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 11/18/24 is $156.
Progress on my 100/100/100. The concept is basically I will do 100 push ups, 100 sit ups and 100 minutes on the elliptical machine all in one sitting. I will start off doing 1/1/1 then going from there. But they always have to be the same number so I can't do 10 push ups and 12 sit ups and I can never go back-on/ once I'm up to 20, I can't do 19 the next day. As of last night the count was 100/100/100. Push ups are getting really hard, sit ups are getting hard and the running is getting hard. I think I'll be done in a week or less. I have until 1/3/25 to complete this challenge.I figure if I just add one or two reps a day I will eventually get there. I'm finding now it's me having enough time to get the challenge done every night. I'm not doing this challenge to “get big” or lose weight. IT'S COMPLETED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S COMPLETED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
