Mama Said There Would Be Days Like This

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a free framed copy. 

Somedays are harder than others. Some days you're the lion and someday you're the gazelle, whichever one you are you better get up and start running everyday because you're either going to starve or get eaten. I'm not trying to be alarming or negative but sometimes life throws curve balls and they all seem to come at once,today seems like one of those days! My third grade teacher, Mrs. Blevins, had a husband fighting in the Gulf War and she read a letter that he wrote to her one time. I don't remember all the details but I do remember one line that read “Problems can always be fixed. All big problems are just a bunch of small problems and all small problems are easy to solve”. I don't know why that stuck with me but it did. So whenever I have a lot on, plate or some problems I try to think of this and it helps me get through whatever. I wonder if when he wrote that letter like 38 years ago he would think some weird blog writer for a random website would be using his advice and quoting him. You never know what effect your actions can have on people so always stay positive. 

The Artwork-I believe this is Pikachu from Pokeman in a Chriatmas outfit and I think he looks great. His hat looks amazing with the ruffles going all around his head, his scarf is great the way it curves a little and of all his entire face gives a great big smile. I enjoyed coloring this one-lots of yellow and other bright colors. I hope you enjoy it! 

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win!
