When I was in about 10th grade my brother aws the manager of the local movie theater, the one in the mall parking lot. He would sometimes have what's called “midnight movies: where he and a;ll of his friends would watch a movie before it came out to the actual public. I went to a few but by far the best one we got to see was Forrest Gump. I was privileged enough to get invited to this one, which was a huge deal because this was my bigger brother and I got to hang out with him and all of the older guys. But we had like three full rows of seats taken up so there had to be like 60 teenage kids watching this movie. I distinctly remember throwing popcorn at the screen when they picked on Forret at the beginning of the movie. It was a blast.
But I wanted to talk a little about Jenny. I never looked at her. She just used Forrest the entire movie and when she was going to meet her maker she finally asked him to marry her. What a not nice person. Plus she made Forrest miss the first three or four years of Forrest Jr’s life, which is like the best four years. I guess the only redeeming quality I can figure out for her is at least she got her life together before she wrote Forrest that letter and had him come to Savannah. She got a job and apartment and seemed to be doing well before they got married. I know it's a decisive and controversial opinion but I'm not the hugest fan of Jenny. There I said it!
The Artwork-Oh Man-this one is Bas A$$. Excuse my language but I got pretty excited about this one. It's Optimus Prime!!!! “Transformers, More than meets the eye”. I think this one was definitely the hardest thing for me to draw all year. I figured out It was much, much harder to draw about an hour in but I had to keep going. And while it looks cool, there's still a lot of flaws in the lines and proportions but a lot of great parts also. I love how he's in mid step and looking the opposite way of the direction he is walking. Then look at those broad shoulders! Those lines and angles were so hard to get correct. But if you look at the windshield, one is faced a certain direction and the other is faced another way and at a different ankle because of the way he is walking-I love this. And lastly-the gun looks cool. I really loved this one-I'm pretty proud of it.
Day 22 of the elliptical-Day four of 60 minutes straight on the elliptical. It's getting easier every night. I think the goal is to be able to do sixty straight minutes on the hardest setting with no problem.
