If you read these please start from the first day.
Well I predicted the correct winner of the Super Bowl but my score was off. Story time.
I went to Travis Middle School in Temple, TX 6th-8th grade. Loved it. Even though it was still middle school and pretty much the hardest, most awkward years of my life (just like everyone else in America) the teachers and coaches there taught me “how to think” not “what to think” and I still use lots of those lessons in my daily life. One day we were called to the gym for an assembly. We had a guest speaker named Kenneth Davis. He went to our school in the past and now played for the Buffalo Bills. That year the Bills played the Giants in the Super Bowl and Mr. Davis scored a touchdown in the game-pretty cool actually. Even though they lost that year he was still nice enough to come back and talk to us. So the first part of his speech I was playing Mr. Cool not paying attention, cutting up with my friends. At the end when it was time for questions I raised my hand and asked “how much money do you make?” Well apparently I hit some type of sore spot or nerve with Mr. Davis because he immediately started yelling at me at the top of his lungs something to the effect of “that's what's wrong with you kids today! you don't listen! I told you at the beginning how I don't talk about money!” I was shocked as the entire school turned and stared at me. I shrunk down in my seat and wanted to disappear. My friends laughed at me. But I learned my lesson-PAY ATTENTION.
The reason I bring this up is because yesterday in the Super Bowl a gentleman named Marquez Valdes-Scantling scored a pivotal go ahead 3rd quarter touchdown for the Chiefs. This man went to Lakewood High School in St. Pete which happens to be 2.9 miles from where I'm sitting right now and 0.6 miles from my house. So we were all pretty proud of our hometown hero making good and scoring the go ahead score in the big game. Great Job!
The Artwork-This was pretty much as close I get to drawing actual human beings weather than cartoons. It's Cinderella so of course it's a cartoon but she has some human features. Mainly her eyes. Her eyes and lips were extremely hard to draw for me but this one came out ok. By no means perfect but I'm happy with it.
Day 41 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year. We all sat at the table watching the game last night with my art supplies just sitting there and still no questions from them.
