If you read these please start from the first day.
It's weird but natural how our priorities and what we know/think or thik we know change over time. Not just priorities but how we live our life and how we think about the future. The current line I tell most people is “I don't have to worry about anything, I have a 14 yr old daughter and she knows everything.” I was the same way when I was that age. You couldn't tell me anything, I knew it all, I had it all figured out. (Narrator voice-”He did not have it all figured out”) I try to beat it into my childrens head that right now if they just do their best in school and join as many clubs or sports or whatever school sponsored events they have, all they social stuff will fall into place-but they don't listen. Friends and social settings were the most important thing when I was their age. I wanted to be cool and hang out and do cool stuff (Narrator's voice-”he was never cool”). But now I could care less about any of that. I'm more worried about watching Law and Order. I can never tell what changed. Was it the fact that I actually did a lot of stuff and went to all the parties, events, gatherings or whatever? Or is it just because I'm old and tired? It's so weird how when you get certain your priorities definitely change.
This has been-”Stuff I should probably talk to a psychiatrist about with Jeremy”
The Artwork-I know no one is paying attention or cares but the dates on the pictures skip a few days. I must have went out of town. I drew a picture everyday for a year unless I went out of town. I think I took my supplies with me on the first short trip with the intention of drawing something but didn't draw anything because it was just too much.
I absolutely love this one. I drew it a day after St. Patrick's Day. His smile and tongue look great, his little four leaf clover hanging off of his hat, the orange hair sneaking out of his hat at different angles, a spoon in his hand (is that for Lucky charms-Why would he have a spoon) plus the hand looks great holding the spoon, his big pot of gold and what I like best about this one is his big blue eyes. This guy was fun to draw. i think I still had to use Crayons for the skin color. At this point I had yet to find the right kind of pencils for skin tones.
Day 72 and not one person from my family has asked why I have not drawn one drawing after drawing one everyday for a year straight.
(Someone has won the $61 prize, please keep reading for more chances to win!!! I'm going to try to do it once every week or two. It's an easy $60.)
