The Thirteenth One

Another great day at Swift Moves but for a special reason today-ITS OUR 8TH ANNIVERSARY!!!!!! That's right, 8 years ago today we filed the paperwork with the state of Florida to be an official business. I think we did our first official move like two months later. We had to wait for everything to be approved, get all the proper licenses and insurances and then get the most important part-A CLIENT!!! Owning a business comes with all sorts of lessons. Like after we did our very first job, as we were driving the truck back home, someone came driving besides us waiving their arms and yelling. I stopped thinking this was a road rage incident only to find out we had left the back door open and our blankets were flying out of the back! Luckily it was close to the drop off location and we were able to retrieve like three blanket that had flew out. Lesson learned.

Moving Tip-If you are moving yourself and renting a truck, always make sure the back door is closed before you leave. I heard about this guy who owned a company and left the back door open on his very first move! What a maroon.

The artwork is getting more like what I did for the most of the year. I did a lot of cartoon characters. But you can see how I'm not fully committed yet. There's still lots of white space where colors should be and the black outlines are not properly done. I definitely likes this one though.

Day 14, two weeks, and no one in my family has asked why I stopped drawing.
