I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.
What's the craziest thing you've ever seen? I've seen a lot of stuff but last Sunday was up there. I was with my wife and kids and we were just about to get on the expressway coming home from somewhere and I looked up and said the exact words “that los like a tornado cloud”. Now I've said those words plenty of time but little did we know how right I was going to be this day. Nioty two minutes later we look right beside our car and see what appears to be a tornado forming. Then about two minutes later it had formed and was going where we just were less than five minutes before. It was not a small water spout but an actual tornado. Thank goodness we were headed in the opposite direction because it just kept getting bigger. I figured there would be some type of warning on our phones or something but nothing ever happened. We got video of it but it wasn't that great because there were lots of trees in the way going down the highway blocking our view every few feet.
Since we never heard anything or got a warning we were not even sure if it was real. But the next day we found out why. Apparently it happened in what is called a “dead zone” for tornadoes. This is some very small part of land that is not covered by tornado radars (or something like that), so the warning sirens never went off because they were never alerted.
The Artwork-I think we all know what cartoon this is from but I'm sorry to say I don't know her actual name. Clop clop or Rainbow Dash maybe. But I really enjoyed drawing her because it was a little different than the other stuff I had been doing. The two different shaped eyes as well as the back legs were a challenge for me to draw. I love all the bright colors and the balloons on her hind quarters. I hope you enjoy it!
