If you read these please start from the first day.
Some Days like yesterday we get lucky and everything goes smoothly. Like I've mentioned multiple times we were all booked up yesterday. All guys working and all trucks running-what we call “All In”. You can ask anybody who runs a moving company, on days like this you're just waiting for something to go wrong. Not yesterday. For the first time in I dont know how long everything went off without a hitch! No employees calling off sick, nobody was late to a job, no truck problems-the other shoe never dropped. I'm definitely knocking on wood as I write this. I'm a little superstitious and it seems whenever I say something is going great, then karma steps in and shuts my mouth for me. This all didn't happen by luck though. We've been paddling our little feet under the water to make stuff go smooth. By doing constant truck maintenance and constant training of our crew we can try our best to make sure everything is running on all cylinders. This month and next month are usually our slowest times of the year so hopefully we can make sure everything stays on track so when the busy season gets here we will be ready to go, go, go and hopefully do well this year. I'm optimistic.
Moving Tip-Ask for discounts. We offer multiple discounts like military or senior citizens. All they can say is “no”. But if someone says no to a vet or senior citizen-do you really want to be doing business with them?
The Artwork-The last two days were kind of the king of movie drawings, today is definitely the king of cartoons- Ladies and gentlemen I present to you- Mickey Mouse! But once again I feel I've not done great on Mickey. The cheeks are off. I could not get them right for some reason. I drew Mickey in different variations throughout the year and could never get him down to my satisfaction. I tried my best so please don't throw stuff at me or leave negative comments.
Day 29 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
