The Twenty Third One 1/27/24

If you read these please start from the very first day.

The weirdest/hardest thing about the moving industry is the schedule. Its not a normal 9-5 job. Some jobs take 1 hour, some take 10 hours. Some weeks are extremely busy and some are not. This month we thought we were going to be slower than usual but we were busier than last year. So naturally we thought this weekend (because it's the last weekend of the month which is usually the busiest) would be packed with jobs but it's slower than we thought. But then next week we are slammed. After 25 years in the business it's the one thing that still surprises me and throws me off. That's what makes Swift Moves the best, we roll with the punches, plan accordingly and kick butt!

Moving Tip-When hiring a moving company, you are not just hiring the two or three guys that pull up in the truck. You're hiring the entire company. What the client never sees with Swift Moves is myself, Tim, Denver and Jestin in the background, turning knobs, hitting switches and doing whatever we have to in order to make your move as stress free as possible. Flat tire-no problem. A drunk guy steals a car and runs into our truck on US 19 and 22nd Ave N? No problem. The last one happened last year and instead of canceling the job or being four hours late, we had a replacement truck within 30 minutes and we're like a total of 1 hour late. We were in constant contact with their client and they definitely were understanding. So the point of this story is if you hire a company make sure they have a good support system who is not going to leave you hanging if something goes wrong.

The Artwork-Some days I would get home and be dog tired and try to find something a little easier to draw. Every time the same thing happened-it ended up way more complicated than I thought. You would think Peppa Pig is really easy but it took just as long as some other ones. 

Day 24 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
