Oh man I'm like 135 days into this great experiment to see if I can write 365 days straight of blog entries and it's getting harder everyday. I think I can do it but I'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel pretty soo with stories and moving advice.
But here's a weird story that I saw happen one time when I worked at the television station. This tv station was on 24 hours a day so we sometimes worked weird hours. One time I had to be there at 1AM to be on air from 2AM-6AM. As I'm riding my bike up, that's right I rode my bike to work and loved it, I can hear sirens getting closer and closer. Then I turn the corner and see this guy named Chris lying on the ground with his head in Amanadas lap. I was not just a host but also a manager so I had to figure out what was happening here. We had a security guard and it turned out this “security guard” decided it would be a good idea to take out his taser and tase one of the employees. I guess they were joking around at first and then the security guy actually did it. It wasn't like he was mad at him or anything, he was just a moron. The ambulance gets there and I start asking employees about what had happened. It turns out we actually got lucky this was the only thing that happened. That security guard was on his last straw. Thirty minutes before this happened the security guard took his gun out of his holster and pointed it right at a member of production's face and was joking around that he was going to pull the trigger. We had not called the police yet but we immediately did when I heard this. But then we realized we had a bigger problem. We now have the guy who is supposed to protect us about to realize he is probably going to lose his job and possibly go to jail. And this guy has a gun! And he was the only one with a gun. I don't remember all the details but we kind of separated him from all the employees while we waited for the police to show up. It took them about ten minutes but it seemed like ten hours. What if this guy went crazy and wanted to “go postal”? He had already tased an innocent person. The police got there and checked his car and he had a bag with all types of knives and weapons in it. This was definitely a weird night. It was Chris’s last day, I'm pretty sure he sued the security company (which he should have!).
The Artwork-This seems like it was one of those where I was in a hurry to get done or did not have a lot of time to draw. It's not a very complicated piece. I have no idea what it is, who it is or where it came from. She looks cool though. Nice eyes, nice moth and great colors. I hope you enjoy it.
Day 33 of the elliptical-Day 16 (out of 60) of 60 minutes straight on the elliptical. I did all sixty minutes on setting four last night! I'm pretty proud of myself. There's a total of nine settings and the goal is to be able to go 60 minutes straight with it on the hardest setting.
A little less than 24 hours to message or call me and I'll send you a $65 gift card for free!!! Starting 145PM 5/19/2
