Time Zones Were Invented Because of Trains

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. Do you ever have one fact that sticks in your head that's completely random and you can remember some small insignificant place where you learned it. Time zones were invented because of trains. In seventh grade we had a trivia contest in our class and the winner would go on to compete against other classes, schools, ext. It was down to me and two other people and the question was something like “why were time zones invented?’ I think I guessed airplanes, but it was trains. So Greg (forget his last name) answered correctly and went on to win the national championship. Not really but I think I probably would have won. But anyway, only 41 more days of this riveting commentary. 

The Artwork-Once again I'm not sure who this is or where they came from, but I like him. I don't know why but I feel like his name should be “Zorb”. He looks like thTheres a lot going on here.  first alien that steps off the spaceship and says “take me to your leader”. There's a lot going on here. I love his crown, his one eye that's a vertical slit, his different colors on his cape and his shoes. But most of all by far I love his ray gun. Not just his ray gun but the way you can see how it has ammunition in the chamber, I thought that was a nice touch. I hope you enjoy it! 

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win!
