We Are in a Golden Age

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know,this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.

I must say I think we are in the golden age of television. There's a lot of great television shows out there. When I first started watching television I remember we had to turn a dial to get one of three TV  stations-there was no cable. Now there are hundreds if not thousands of stations just on cable then you have, HULU, Netflix, paramount and many, many more. The great thing about this is they have to create content to keep viewers entertained and paying clients so they have to make amazing television. It started in the late 90’s with the Sopranos, then came Breaking Bad and shows like the Bachelor and survivor if you like that type of programming. Then you have all the regular news shows and stuff like Dateline or 20/20 or 48 hours. But that brings up to now. In just the last week I've watched Cobra Kai, some documentary about Lou Pearlman, Succession and a special about the Phile Spector murder. Then you have shows like Stranger Things, Big Mouth, The :Last of Us, The Mandalorian, What We Do in The Shadows, Family Guy and The Bear. These are all shows that blow shows from 20 years ago out of the water. And I think we are just beginning. I think the shows are going to get way better, better writing, casting, directing and accruing ill make the tv of the next ten years amazing. I can't wait. 

The Artwork-Well this one is certainly a little different from the normal ones I do. Not too different and still cool. It's Pennywise! What I love about this one is the colors. Bright yellow, turquoise, purple, ornge, black red, orange-I always liked drawing characters with different colors.  But he also looks pretty scary. His eyes and mouth give him a creep vibe especially when you combine it with the fact he is a clown. I think I did well with that little glare on his nose;that was not made with a certain color but the lack of ed in that one spot. I hope you enjoy it!

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible.
