A Different Way To Choose The Champion?

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. I've always kind of paid attention to all sports but to me college football has got a lot more interesting. Three main factors have made it this way. 

The first is the portal system. While I'm not too familiar with it, I guess it allows athletes to change colleges or schools/teams a lot easier than it used to be. 

The next reason is the athletes get paid now. They can do endorsements. I was watching a game last night and saw an athlete in the Nissan commercial during the game. This to me is kind of wild but makes for more intense athletes with overall bigger stakes. And it would seem this would make athletes stay their senior year and not goto the NFL as fast as they used to. 

The last and to me the biggest reason is the new college football playoff system. It's 12 teams that get to play in the playoffs. There used to be no real playoffs and writers voted to see who was the best for that year. I never liked that system, it was kind of biased and didn't really stick to the spirit of what sports are supposed to be. Now with the new system there is a clear cut champion. It also doesn't hurt that the Texas Longhorns are on the hunt and that was my favorite team growing up in Texas. 

 The Artwork-This is the blue guy from the PJ Masks cartoon. I didn't watch the cartoon but I enjoyed drawing him. Even though it's not perfect I like the little emblem on his chest, I always liked drawing the emblems. I do remember the hardest part of drawing this guy was all the little lightning bolt patterns on his suit or pajamas rather. I think his eyes and smile are both amazing but what I really love about this picture is his smile. I hope you enjoy it! 

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win!
