Entertainment Has Changed

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. Entertainment is changing. Even though it's been going on for years I'm still pretty shocked and impressed by the way the internet and Youtube is taking over our lives and the way we spend our free time. 

Mr. Beast is a pretty famous content creator who started out like 12-15 years ago posting YouTube videos and now is host of the biggest reality/game show in history. The final person left standing on this show will receive $5 Million. That's a lot of money plus they are giving away lots of other prizes along the way. The show is essentially the same as all of the YouTube videos he has been putting out since he started-now it's just a lot more prize money. So YouTube, a site that started 20 years ago, has almost engulfed the normal television medium which has been around like 100 years. Because it's on Amazon Prime, which I watch on my television, but it's still on my phone which makes it more of an internet show. I know it's confusing but I think you get the idea. These two worlds of entertainment are colliding and merging with the +result being better entertainment for people like myself. I think this is so impressive. But more than that I think it's impressive and amazing that Mr. Beast, a 25 year old guy who started from pretty much nothing, is now hosting a show that is giving away more money than any show in the history of the world. I think this gives hope to not just me but to the future generation that anything is possible. 

The Artwork-I hope this one downloads because I loved drawing it. It's Bert! Or Ernie! I legit don't know what one and I'm not going to look it up. The colors on this guy are straight from the 1970’s. That green on his pants and the off colors on his shirt and shoes are a throwback to when tv’s only had three channels. But look at the jet black hair and unibrow and eyes! He's got a cool collar and the shoes came out great. My favorite part of drawing this was drawing all the straight lines on his shirt and then coloring them in. This is a great drawing. I hope you enjoy it!

EDIT-PICTURE IS STILL NOT DOWNLOADING-I am waiting on my internet people to get back to me ad try to fix this problem.

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money.
