You Got Punk'd

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. It's not everyday or even every year that we get new language or sayings and it's usually hard to pinpoint where exactly the saying came from but one I don't think the originators get enough credit for is the term “punk’d”. The term really means when you got pranked or had a joke played on you-you got “punk’d”. This term came from the 2003 MTV show called “Punk'd" that starred Ashton Kusher and Dax Shepard. They would put celebrities in weird situations and prank them then run out from behind the scenes and yell “you got Punkd”. Now it's pretty common around the world to say “you got Punk’d” whenever someone is the victim of a prank. This is nothing groundbreaking but I think it's pretty cool that we were all around (most of us) to see where this term came from. 

The Artwork-I still cannot upload this picture so I'll try my best to describe it to you, this seems like a fun and challenging exercise. It's Bluey, the cartoon character with a Santa hat over his right ear. He almost looks l;oke Blue from Blue's clue was drawn by MC Escher. He is waving with his left hand. What a great and detailed description. I do hope this eventually uploads because it's actually one of my favorite ones from last year. Im hope you enjoy it!

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win!
