Everyone Would be Deaf!

I'm going to talk about a weird but dumb subject today. It has to do with movies and television shows and something that drives me crazy. Have you ever seen someone shoot a gun in a movie? They just shoot it with no ear protection and then have a normal conversation like nothing happened. If you have ever shot a real gun you know this is not possible. If you shoot a gun without ear protection the ringing and no hearing will last at least an hour. GUNS ARE LOUD! Really loud. I was watching the great 80’s movie Lethal Weapon the other day and in one scene they are at the firing range practicing and everyone has on ear protection. Great. Then throughout the rest of the movie they're rolling around hanging from helicopters, cars and buildings busting caps with no ear protection like they are firing a BB gun. They would all be deaf!! Maybe a .22 caliber you could get away with but with the 9mm and .44 magnums they are firing, those police officers are not going to last long. I would think any police officer or any regular person who enjoys firing a weapon would agree. Growing up I lived in Texas and shot a lot of firearms and trust me, if my Father saw me firing one without ear protection it would probably be the last time I shot a gun because my dad would not want someone who didn't know proper gun safety anywhere near a gun. 

I understand these are just movies but I needed to fill blog space and this has always driven me crazy. If someone thinks I'm wrong and they can shoot a gun with no ear protection and no repercussions please let me know. I will set everything up and you can shoot a gun without ear protection then we will see the results. I get to video record it and see how many likes I can get from you hurting yourself (I'm just kidding of course, I could never gain from someone else's harm).

The Artwork_-I'm not sure who this goofy fella is but I like him. I think what I like the most is the colors. Not too bright but not too soft. The off-peach color of his shirt and nice blue jean color really draws me in. The lack or color or “negative space" really shows off his hair (or lack of it), eyes and teeth. The proportions on this guy are way off. From his skinny arms and giant head to his weird looking torso-I think this guy would have a hard time walking. I hope you enjoy!
