I hope you enjoy these. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.
This is kind of related to what I wrote about yesterday with stuff that goes on in the movies, but I'm sure this happens in real life also. Have you ever watched the show “Mad Men”. In most of the episodes the guys (and girls) are taking lunch at noon and they go out or stay in their office and start drinking liquor. LIQUOR! How does that work? I've never been a huge drinker but I know after two drinks I can maybe barely function and I surely won't be advancing my career at a multi billion dollar firm or making any decisions that are going to win over clients business. I was out to lunch the other day and I noticed a group of businessmen all drinking mixed drinks. What? I would be passed out on the way home and if I drove (which I never would) I would definitely get a DUI. There's a good chance I would be yelling at the waitress and my clients or sleeping on the floor before we even left the restaurant. It wouldn't be pretty. I can maybe understand a beer or two or maybe a small shot to celebrate the closing of a deal but when it comes to hard liquor it makes no sense to me how people can drink that much in the middle of the day. And the guys in the tv show had like a full bar in their office. This means they must drink all the time, like it's a daily thing. Now this was back in the 1960’s so stuff was different but I think the human body still functioned the same way. So to recap-How do business people go out and drink multiple hard liquor drinks for lunch? I could not even come close to doing it. `
The Artwork-This was one of the more unusual ones that I have done. I don't know where it is from but I like her. She is some type of princess that almost looks like she is floating. Her eyes and mouth are minimal but still make a nice smile. The purple belt and choker add a little color in addition to her gold crown that establishes she is a princess. I hope you enjoy it!
