I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
It's Friday the 13th, which in America is considered a spooky day! I'm not exactly sure why but for my generation it is definitely because of Jason Voories and the Friday the 13ht movies. I was about six or seven when I first heard about these movies and then when I watched one, iot waa not as scary as it was supposed to be; I thought Nightmare on Elm Street was scarier. I have never been to the biggest horror movie watcher, I like comedies and drama more. But for some reason Friday the 13th does still freak me out a little bit. When I hear the date it still kind of gives me pause and I am extra careful when planning or doing anything on this date. I do think it's weird how some hotels don't have a 13th floor. I mean the floor is still there but they dont number it and skip from floor 12 to floor 14-what's the point? The floor is still there, just because you didn't put a number on it doesn't mean it disappeared. I'm not sure what the number 13 is considered u lucky. I've heard mutlip;le stories-one is because Jesus had 13 people at the Last supper and another had to do with Norse Mythology and Loki (I'm not sure the details). That's all the exciting stuff I have to write about Friday the 13th. Thinking of interesting topics every single day is getting harder.
The Artwork-1…2…3…I count three dots and numbers to introduce the man who needs no introduction-All the way from Sesame Street Count Von Count!!! I love this character and I loved drawing him. Just like most other children in America he was a part of my childhood. I thought I did a fairly good job drawing him. What makes this guy special are the little details like the monocle on his left eye, his cape and the three little stripes going across his chest. His eyes brows are on “fleek” , his teeth are sharp and his smile is big. I think the colors match up perfectly. I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 9/13/24 is $84.
I made a math error the last few days. Now it's thirteen days from now until I will be starting a new workout routine to finish this year off. I'm really going to challenge myself and I am not even sure if I will be able to physically do it. I'm calling it the 100/100/100 challenge. As the days get closer I'm getting more excited but I'm also dreading it a little bit because it's going to be a challenge to myself that I've never even come close to doing. I'm getting old though and need to start taking better care of my body.
Here are some key words I have been advised to say for the Google algorithm= Storage, moving, affordable movers.
