I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
When I first started writing this blog I was talking a lot more about moving and the moving business but I have definitely gotten away from doing that because there was only so much to say about it. But I'm going to start trying a little more to talk about it. I talked to some people yesterday that said I need to start writing a little more relevant stuff to get ranked better on Google.
I'm going to try to sprinkle in some key words to the pages I add and about once a week talk about something moving related. Today I will write about what you should look for when hiring a mover. I mean you should just hire Swift Movers and be done with it but otherwise here are a few pointers. Of course, do your research on the internet. Do they have a low rating on Google? That's a red flag. But lots of companies have good ratings so then go to the next metric. Price. If someone is extremely cheap be careful., You get what you pay for. If someone is too cheap maybe they have day laborers that make minimum wage or maybe that don't have all the proper insurances. If they have an extremely high price that's not necessarily a bad thing but you want to make sure you get certain guarantees for that cost. Next make sure they have all the required insurance-we have cargo insurance, liability insurance, workers comp and a few more-that's what you're paying for when you pay a few extra dollars. Any reputable moving company should have the three I listed at a minimum. If you have checked all reviews, compared prices and made sure everyone had all the required insurances but stool can't make a decision the only thing you have left is your gut, what you feel about the company you want to do business with. This one is a hard one to quantify. You have to go with the company who is the best fit for you. I know if you call me for an estimate you're going to hire me. I'm a salesperson who is going to do my best to find common ground with anyone I talk to. I'm going to try my best to answer any questions they may have. When we end that call I want that client to think to themselves “I'm glad I called these guys, they are going to be awesome. I'm glad I called them”. I hope this helps, I know it's a little choppy but I had to hurry today.
The Artwork-I'm not sure where this character is from but he looks thrilled. This was drawn on the first day of October of last year and zi was starting to try my best to do something like a Halloween theme with the drawing. I guess this one is like a floating wizard or something. I love his eyes and mouth, they make him look so dreary or just not wanted to interact with anyone. He looks up to no good. I absolutely love the color of his eyes, they appear to be a shade of purple but it fades to a different shade-love it. Then the all black face and purple robe make this guy not quite scary. I really lie the color of his robe. I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 9/12/24 is $83.
I made a math error the last few days. Now it's thirteen days from now until I will be starting a new workout routine to finish this year off. I'm really going to challenge myself and I am not even sure if I will be able to physically do it. I'm calling it the 100/100/100 challenge. As the days get closer I'm getting more excited but I'm also dreading it a little bit because it's going to be a challenge to myself that I've never even come close to doing. I'm getting old though and need to start taking better care of my body.
I've been advised I need to put some keywords in these blogs so local movers. TYampa Bay movers.
