I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
I have a friend that has a 10 year old son that is really into sports. Last year they lost a heartbreaker in the championship game and were not happy about it. They vowed they would this year. So for the entire last year the son put in the work to be better and try to win the big game this year. He worked out before and after school, on the weekends and whenever he could. This was not a case of the parent pushing the child but a case of something I've never witnessed before and this 10 year old putting in the work for a full year to win what he needed to. He worked his butt off. Low and behold yesterday morning he won the championship game! I was and am extremely happy for him. But it shows that no matter what age you have to put in the work if you want to achieve something worthwhile. I didn't go to the game but I was just waiting for the time to pass so I could text and find out the results; when that text game came back with “W” it was definitely a highlight that was a year in the making. It's been a pretty rough year all around so little things like this really make life a bit better. Great job B!
The Artwork-Pretty much the opposite of the complicated one i drew yesterday. I think this is a girl and I have no clue where she is from. Once again just a few facial features can tell a story.Even though it's just three straight lines and two circles on her face this girl looks pretty happy and content. The neck is a little skinny but I do like her nice mane of hair. I hioe you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam,
it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 11/2/24 is $141.
Progress on my 100/100/100. Challenge. The concept is basically I will do 100 push ups, 100 sit ups and 100 minutes on the elliptical machine all in one sitting. I will start off doing 1/1/1 then going from there. But they always have to be the same number so I can't do 10 push ups and 12 sit ups and I can never go back-on once I'm up to 20, I can't do 19 the next day. As of last night the count was 40/40/40 . Push ups are getting really hard. I have until 1/3/25 to complete this challenge.I figure if I just add one or two reps a day I will eventually get there. I'm not doing this challenge to “get big” or lose weight but Google search words of the day @awesomemovers @moversholiday @Swiftmoves
