I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
Today we had to finish up a move that has taken three entire days with a six man crew and two trucks, it was a pretty big move. The house was like 500 square feet and had to be totally packed and moved with six days notice-but we got it done! I wish we never met the client and she never hired us. The reason I say this is because she hired us because her house flooded during the last two storms. So even though we got ork out of it I would rather we would have never been in this situation. But we helped her out and found the last storage unit in town arranged everything so she could start remodeling. That's what we do here at Swift Moves-whatever it takes to get the job doe even if it means driving around town on my day off to find an empty storage unit.
The Artwork-I know this is the character Robin but its not from an official Batman and Robin show, I'm not sure where its from but he's cool. The absence of any type of eyes or pupils make him look a certain way but I'm not sure what. I do like his heavily gelled hair, his bright yellow neon pants and most of all how he has his hands on his hips. Lets not forget his little tool belt, not as intricate as Batman's but it was still fun to draw. I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam,
it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 11/3/24 is $142.
Progress on my 100/100/100. Challenge. The concept is basically I will do 100 push ups, 100 sit ups and 100 minutes on the elliptical machine all in one sitting. I will start off doing 1/1/1 then going from there. But they always have to be the same number so I can't do 10 push ups and 12 sit ups and I can never go back-on once I'm up to 20, I can't do 19 the next day. As of last night the count was 45/45/45. Push ups are getting really hard. I have until 1/3/25 to complete this challenge.I figure if I just add one or two reps a day I will eventually get there. I'm not doing this challenge to “get big” or lose weight but Google search words of the day @awesomemoversnearme @moversportrichey @Swiftmovesstpete
