I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
I turned on the first game of the World Series the other night just in time to see the very last hit. I saw exactly one pitch. In the bottom of the 10th inning Freddie Freeman, who plays for the Dodgers, hit the first walk off grand slam in World Series history. What I like about this story is Freddie Freeman had to take a few months off earlier this season because his three year old son was having some pretty bad medical issues. A player taking off in the middle of the season just doesn't happen, or its extremely rare at least. Thankfully his son recovered and Fredie helped the Dodgers make the World Series. But then for the first time in MLB history Freddie Freeman hits a home run in his first four World Series games! That also has never happened before. So to recap-Freddie Freeman, who is 35 years old (kind of up there for a MLB player) has to take time off to be with his son, almost doesn't play because of an ankle injury, hits the game winning grand slam then homers in his first four World Series games. If the Dodgers win I think he should definitely be the MVP.
For a backstory the Dodgers beat the Rays in the 2020 World Series and the Yankees are our division rivals so I'm not too excited for whomever wins bit a good story is a good story. How can you not be romantic about baseball?
The Artwork-Np clue where this one is from but I love it. He’s for some reason just intriguing looking. His eyes staring at you with those huge pupils is a little creepy yet innocent. I remember drawing this one and being so happy when I got to color him. That bright pink and cool blue go great together then the yellow contrast tp make this fabulous bird something worth looking at. I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam,
it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 10/29/24 is $137.
Progress on my 100/100/100. Challenge. The concept is basically I will do 100 push ups, 100 sit ups and 100 minutes on the elliptical machine all in one sitting. I will start off doing 1/1/1 then going from there. But they always have to be the same number so I can't do 10 push ups and 12 sit ups and I can never go back-on once I'm up to 20, I can't do 19 the next day. As of last night the count was 20/20/20. I have until 1/3/25 to complete this challenge.I figure if I just add one or two reps a day I will eventually get there. I'm not doing this challenge to “get big” or lose weight but Google search words of the day @greatmoversnearme @movingcompanyportrichey @moverssarasota
