I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
I really don't like writing with this new laptop but whatever. It always kicks me off or onto another tab. I'll survive.
I can't think of anything to write about so I'll revisit an old theme. It's about staying positive and doing your best. Here in St. Pete its been a pretty rough month for me and (literally) 100’s of thousands of other residents. The one thing I noticed though is everyone has been very nice and helpful. It like we are all in this together. But more than anything everyone keeps saying stuff like “keep your head up, stay positive and don't give up. This too shall pass.” And they are correct. Even though its been a month we are still in the midst of a catastrophe. I literally had a once in a lifetime catastrophe. So please everyone take a deep breath and realize that after all of this is over we will all be stronger because of it. Richer? Probably not (I dont think I'm alone when I say there's a little dissatisfaction with the insurance companies.) Smarter? Hopefully. Stronger? I would say definitely.
So please stay positive, do your best and don't ever give up!
The Artwork-I'm not sure where this gall is from but I like her and all of her accessories. Her headband is cool and goes along great with her hair. I like the little heart shaped dimples, big eyes and nice smile. What I really enjoyed drawing was the little bit of hair that goes over her eyes. I had to draw that just a little bit lighter of color to show how it was going over her eye and it was kind of see-through. Her purse was fun to draw and I loved coloring all of her clothes, stockings and shoes. Lots of color in this one. I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam,
it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 10/28/24 is $136.
Progress on my 100/100/100. Challenge. The concept is basically I will do 100 push ups, 100 sit ups and 100 minutes on the elliptical machine all in one sitting. I will start off doing 1/1/1 then going from there. But they always have to be the same number so I can't do 10 push ups and 12 sit ups and I can never go back-on once I'm up to 20, I can't do 19 the next day. As of last night the count was 15/15/15. I have until 1/3/25 to complete this challenge.I figure if I just add one or two reps a day I will eventually get there. I'm not doing this challenge to “get big” or lose weight but Google search words of the day @greatmovers @movingcompanyclearwater @moversbradenton
