I Told You It Was Hard To Commit Crime

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesn't know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. Well this is one post where I'm happy yet sad to be right. Last week I wrote a post about how I don't understand how anyone could get away with crime in this day and age with all the technology like cameras/DNA, etc. Then the very next day a healthcare CEO was shot in the back (un-alived) in the middle of NYC, which is one of the largest, most densely packed cities in the world and has cameras everywhere. The shooting was clearly caught on camera. The shooter then ran away and vanished into the city despite lots of camera shots of him. I wrote another post about how I might be wrong and maybe someone could get away with a crime in this day and age. But low and behold I was right. This guy was caught this morning and it was 100% because of technology. They showed his picture all over the news and was turned in by an employee at McDonalds in Pennsylvania. With good ole fashion police work, a little help from the public and the eye in the sky my theory was kind of proven correct. 

The Artwork-It's the Grinch! I must say I'm pretty happy how this one came out.The proportion of the head is a little big but other than that its great. I think the colors matched up perfectly to the original and that's a hard shade of green to match. His fingers came out great (drawing fingers was always a challenge), his yellow/red beady eyes give him a mischievous look and there's lots of little details like the ruffles on his sock that made this a fun picture to draw. I hope you enjoy it! 

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win!
