Ive Cut The Cord

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know,this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.

Anyone who has read a few of these blogs knows that I tend to watch a lot of television, too much television actually. Last week I got rid of the cable. I cut the cord I guess you could say. What really happened is I got a cheaper internet provider and the cable was part of the original package therefore I had to forfeit the cable. They were charging me way too much. I've had a cable box pretty much my entire life with maybe the exception of a year, maybe two at the most. So now I'm going to do my best to go as long as possible with no internet. 

I'm so used to going home and leaving as much as the real world behind so I can just “veg'' out in front of the television. I definitely do stuff like the artwork and working out that I have written about in the past but I'm currently not in any type of regiment so when I go home I kind of dont know what to do with myself. I kind of stare out the window like that Pablo Escobar meme where he's just standing around with his hands behind his back. It's an adjustment period for me. I'm challenging myself to see how long I can go without cable. My kids dont care one bit, they are of a younger generation and everything they need is on the internet. They didn't even notice there was no cable. 

The Artwork-I can't think of the movie this guy is from but I like him. I think the colors all match up perfectly but what i really like is the smile and nose on this guy. Plus the way his hands are on his hips make him look so happy and a little bit mischievous. I hope you enjoy it!
