USA! USA! USA!

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know,this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.

Tomorrow is the Fourth Of July. We always close on that day because it's important to us. We all realize how lucky we are to live in this great nation. Lately it seems it's hard for some people and harder for others.  And why I definitely don't have the solution I will say just don't give up. There's always hope and that's what I have always loved about America. No matter where you are in life or where the nation is as a whole there's always a sense of better times are around the corner. This is in no way political. I'm just speaking in general terms of how the nation has always felt to me. If I don't like the guy in office then hopefully my guy can get elected the next term and if the guy currently in office is not doing so great then hopefully his policies get better and more in line with what I want out of life. But regardless without hope then we don't live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. The world has changed more since 1776 than the precious 4 billion. That's because every man or woman (I'm fully aware of the inequalities of the past, but once again I'm just speaking in generalities) has always had the opportunity to make his life, this country and the world a better place. If you have a lot of money or a great invention someones not going to steal it from you or the government is not going to lock you up while they take your stuff (once again generalities). That's why we as a species have gone from horse drawn carriages to planes in about 130 years and then to the moon in another 65 years and now we can talk to anyone, anywhere or find out any information we want 41 years after that. Planes-The Wright Bros (American invention) Apollo 11 to the moon-(American government ingenuity) The iphone-Steve Jobs (American invention). All these things that have dramatically changed the world (plus millions more) have come from the minds of people who were told to go out in this great nation and do great things and people will be happy for you. I'm not sure how we compare to other nations but I know we are awesome. So please this July 4th remember no matter what situation you may currently be in, we still live in the greatest nation on earth and because of that I get to write these ridiculous blogs and do my so-so artwork all so almost no one can waste their time reading and enjoying it-but you know what? That's our choice. We can waste anytime we like, it's our right. I hope this made sense to everyone because I've kind of just rambled on getting excited about the USA! USA! USA!

The Artwork-Its Aerial!!! From The Little Mermaid! I impressed myself with this one. The eyes and lips were definitely the hardest part. I remember taking like an hour on that top lip. The eyes have that great color blue and I always messed up normal human eyes so I thought these came out good. The hair, top, dress and skin tone all seem to match up fairly well with the original cartoon. That's a lot of hair. I hope you enjoy it.

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win!
