The 224th One 8/18/24

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.

The Artwork-I've talked to many parents and I think its a theme throughout America and possibly the world that kids just don’t play outside like they used to. When I was a young man a long time ago I couldn't wait to play outside with my friends all day long. Kids today still have but they're all on-line. They not only play video games but watch videos and surf the net with headphones on while they talk to their friends. I'm not sure if this is a bad thing or a good thing. On the bad side their children are not getting the exercise and face-to-face interactions they should be getting. There is also the chance of on-line predators, but I think me and society as a whole has done our best to warn kids about them.  But on the good side they are learning about technology and all the skills it takes to be on-line. I'm pretty sure my ten year old knows more about the internet than I do. They also can get hurt like I always did playing outside, I had multiple trips to the ER playing with my friends growing up. Another positive is kids that play on-line don't have to worry about getting kidnapped, this one is a way bigger concern in Florida because come on-it Florida. So in conclusion kids don't play outside as much as they used to and I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. Probably bad.

The Artwork-This guy is the opposite from yesterday. The one yesterday had all legs and no body, this guy has no legs and all body. This guy stretched out big time. I dont know what cartoon or where he is from. I usually say he looks cool but he looks goofy, by design. Short arms and legs plus what looks like a pretty dirty shirt added to his way, way out of proportion eye leave this guy hunting for something in the suave department. To give him that ruffled look I had to draw like fifty little pieces of hair strategically around his body and find the perfect shade of yellow to make him look not as strong. I like him though, an un-cool goofy dog. I hope you enjoy it!

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win!

The total on 8/18/24 is $60.
