I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
The next thing I really enjoy about moving is the satisfaction I get from actually helping clients complete the move. Moving for anyone is not an easy task. I'm not talking about the moving part that we do, I'm talking about all that comes along with actually moving from one abode to the next. Finding a real estate agent if you get a house, finding a place to live, changing over all the utilities, getting insurance, changing all your credit card addresses, saying bye to all the people who work at Publix- it's a lot nd we get to do our little part. Usually whenever a moving company is knocking on the door, it's the very last thing that needs to be done in what has been a three to six months long process. I always try to explain that the client has climbed this huge hill and they are almost at the top and headed downhill-the mover just has to help them over the very last hump. If it's a great company like Swift Moves we make this last step easy and the client starts a new chapter in their life at their new place. That is the greatest feeling. Everything is unloaded from the truck, the paperwork is signed, we are paid and we are walking down the driveway hearing them shut the door behind us; hopefully they can finally relax. You know they are so relieved and we helped them finish and start a huge part of their life. Because two months ago they had a list of probably 50 things to do in order to move into a new place and “move” was probably the last thing on their list, I'm glad we get tp help them complete this part of their journey.
The Artwork-I don't know why but every drawing I did with purple i really liked doing. But this one seemed extra special to me. I believe its a ghost from the Mario Bros franchise and the reason I like it so much is the cool looking purple/pink like shadows/highlights around her eyes and chin; it just looks cool. But there's also the cool looking thing on her head, maybe cap or crown, I don't know. She's sticking her tongue out and has her arms outstretched like “what? You wanna go?” I enjoyed drawing and coloring this one. I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam,
it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 9/17/24 is $87.
In about a week or so from now I will be starting a new workout routine to finish this year off. I'm really going to challenge myself and I am not even sure if I will be able to physically do it. I'm calling it the 100/100/100 challenge. As the days get closer I'm getting more excited but I'm also dreading it a little bit because it's going to be a challenge to myself that I've never even come close to doing. I'm getting old though and need to start taking better care of my body. I've been doing some very light workouts to get these old bones loosened up this week.
Here are some key words I have been advised to say for the Google algorithm= junk removal, junk hauling, moving reviews
