I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
The last thing I like about the moving business (that I'm writing about at least) is the personal satisfaction of actually moving someone. This is an odd one to explain and I hope I can convey what I am trying to say. Yesterday I spoke about how I liked to help the client, that's one thing, but this is a little different. This is how I feel. I enjoy helping the client but it also gives me this sense of great personal satisfaction when the job is completed. When I'm doing a move and I walk into a house at the beginning of a move, that house is usually completely full of furniture. So we spend a few hours or whatever taking the stuff out of the house and l;oading it into the truck. Then we took a walk through what was a house full of furniture a few hours earlier but now is completely empty. That is a feeling of great satisfaction. It was full, now it's empty. Then we drive the stuff to a new place that's usually totally empty and do the total opposite. The truck was full and the house was empty but at the end of the move the truck was empty and the house was full. Getting that last piece of the truck is extremely satisfying and it never gets old. It's a rush of dopamine or something to the brain. I hope I'm explaining this correctly.
The Artwork-This girl is from The Amazing World of Gumball. I don't watch the show but my wife and son do. I like this drawing though. It didn't take that long to complete. I really like her big eyes and floppy ears. I don't see a mouth but these still seems to look like a nice person. I love her orange top. I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam,
it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 9/18/24 is $89.
In about a week or so from now I will be starting a new workout routine to finish this year off. I'm really going to challenge myself and I am not even sure if I will be able to physically do it. I'm calling it the 100/100/100 challenge. As the days get closer I'm getting more excited but I'm also dreading it a little bit because it's going to be a challenge to myself that I've never even come close to doing. I'm getting old though and need to start taking better care of my body. I've been doing some very light workouts to get these old bones loosened up this week.
Here are some key words I have been advised to say for the Google algorithm= junk removal, junk hauling, moving reviews
