New Television Producers Everywhere

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know,this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.

There used to be three television stations. There was NBC, ABC and CBS. So if the world wanted to see a tv show it had to go through one of these three “players” in the industry. There were either 30 minute shows, 60 minute shows or movies. Then cable came along and there were a lot more options and we all thought we had lots of stuff to choose from because there were like 100-200 different stations and options of stuff to watch. But now with the internet that is dramatically changing. Its even changed a lot over the last 3 months. Now everyone can be a “television producer”. Like literally anyone who wants to. Even only three months ago it used to be about 30 second to 60 second clips but now I'm noticing there's a lot of videos that are 30 minutes long. So it has gone from a small amount of time for a video to get likes and shares to now people are trying to get you to watch their channel for a large amount of time so they can sell more advertising. 

So now we have 1000’s or tens of thousands of people creating content for the world to watch. And it's not separated by nations. Someone can make a 30 miniature ‘tv show” in Italy and it can be uploaded and viewed by someone in Iowa 2 minutes later. To me this is fascinating and amazing at how fast it is evolving. I think it's not a good thing, its a great thing. 

The Artwork-I'm not sure where this electric alien came from but he's awesome. With his gigantic eyes and smiling mouth he sure looks happy. But what I love most about this guy is the colors. They are like some 1980’s electric neon green and pink colors. About four to five months after I started all these drawings I started to enjoy the coloring more than the drawing and this was definitely one of my favorite ones to do. I hope you enjoy it! 

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible.
