The Fifty Third One 2/25/24

Another Sunday which is my day off but I have driven up here to the shop to write this blog. I still don't have a laptop but I'll get one soon enough. Believe it or not I've pretty much been able to run this entire business off of an I-Phone for the last eight years. When I was first learning this industry 20 years ago running a company off a cellphone was definitely not an option. \But I often think about how far we have come as a society since the invention of the I-Phone. Lets see how many other businesses or processes that once were that are now kind of obsolete. Landline telephones, the US postal system, maps, phone books, cameras, video cameras, VCR’s, Cd’s, waiting in line for concrete tickets, paying a bill by mail, old yearbooks, calculators, little note pads, photo albums, radios, alarm cocks, calendars, flashlights, VHS machines, clocks and a tremendous amount more. Not to mention every bit of information, every movie or video, every book is all at the palm of your hand. To me this is absolutely amazing. I know I'm forgetting plenty, but that's like 20 off the top of my head. I think we live in a great time. 

The Artwork-I like this one. The furrowed brows, hands on his hips and frown on his face tell a story. I like the scarf and the colors match up well. I hope you like it as well.

Day 54 and not a word from my family as to why I abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
