The Fifty Second One 2/24/24

If you read these please start from the first day.

The other day I wrote about how I didn't realize when I opened this business how much the human factor would come into play. Another thing I knew about but never really understood until I was knee deep in this business is how many decisions you have to make on a daily basis. Everyday I probably have to make 50-100 different decisions on topics or things I don't know the answers to. Should I use this mechanic to fix the truck? Should I buy this part today for $100 that I might be able to use or wait a week and only pay $50 for the part? Should I write this employee up for being late even though he's never late? Will that tire last one more day or should I rent a truck? All I can do is use the knowledge and experience I have and hope for the best. 

This is not only true for business but for everyday life also. It's always kind of bothered me that there's a series of decisions I can make and I could be a billionaire. What are they? I DON'T KNOW OR I WOULD MAKE THEM!. That's also what I love about this country we call America. There is a path to riches and financial freedom if you make the right decisions. Of course there's outliers and obstacles but there's many, many people who started out with waaay less than me that are now very well off. For probably 99% of people in the US the reason they are not happy or wealthy or whatever is their own fault. They made the wrong decisions. I definitely know many people are wrongly jailed or have physical disabilities or something truly unfair that make dreams almost impossible but for the most part-success is a decision that can be achieved by making the correct decisions. Is it easy?-NO! It's actually extraordinarily difficult but we all keep getting up everyday trying to make the best decision to achieve our dreams-that's right-picking the correct 5 numbers and one powerball for the lottery drawing. That's unfortunately the best and only path to most of our financial freedom. 

The Artwork-This was one the ones where I must have got home late but still needed to draw something pretty fast. Hello Kitty! I think she came out great. Nice proportion, the colors are spot on and she has a cute little bow in her hair. 

Day 53 and not a word from my family as to why I abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
