If you read these please start from the first day.
Yesterday I was moving a company car here at the shop that we have not used in a while when I looked in the center console and sitting there like a golden goose egg was a tape measure. I know what you're thinkin-”tell me more I'm so intrigued!” But this wasn't any old tape measure, it was a Milwaukee Stud 25’ Magnetic tape measure that cost like $30. I loved this tape measure because it worked so well but I have not seen it in like 6 months. I was so excited to find this thing. Point of this story is you have to learn to enjoy the little things. This tape measure was not a life changing device but it made me so happy to find it. Sometime driving down the beach you're there at the perfect time when there are no clouds and get to see the sun set or you notice on Facebook that someone you haven't seen or talked to in 20 years is getting married and they seem genuinely happy; these little things don't make one difference in your life or mine but it's nice to see small things make us smile. “its the little things”, “Stop and smell the roses” there are a few different famous saying that apply here and they are famous for a reason, because they are true. If you can't let the little things make you happy then happiness is going to be a problem for you because big things don't come along as often. Winning a championship of any type, getting married, buying a house, having a new child-these things are going to be great and bring lots of joy but they don't happen everyday. So if you can find it inside of yourself to appreciate the little things your life will be much better. A great sandwich, a funny TV show, an unexpected compliment, catching a great song on the radio at the beginning as soon as you get in the car, a drama free work day, finding a dollar in the dryer-any and all of these would bring a smile to my face and I hope yours also.
The artwork-I absolutely loved this one. It's SpongeBob. I've never watched an episode but the picture came out really cool I think. From his three dimensional look to his tie and even the highlights on his shoes and of course his actual square pants (that I'm literally just now noticing), I was happy with this one. Just a reminder if anyone wants one of these to hang on their wall I'll send you one in a frame for free.
Day 46 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
