If you read these please start from the first day.
Writer's block! I thought drawing something almost everyday for a year was going to be challenging but it seems after like 40 days of writing I'm out of stuff to say. I'll figure it out. Last year I drew a picture a day, this year a blog entry a day, I think next year I'm going to do a play or something. Like go to a community theater and audition and hopefully get a leading role. Can I act? No. Can I sing? No? Can I dance? Also No. Maybe I can be a tree or a rock that just sits there for a few scenes. But whatever it is I'm going to do my best. Konstantin Stanislavsk once said “There are no small parts, just small actors”
Who is Konstantin Stanislavsk-I have no clue but I like that saying. My daughter once had a school play like in fourth or fifth grade. Lots of people had multiple lines but this one little bitty kid had one line with like four words but when he got up there he did something to make the entire audience laugh and clap. It wasn't anything crazy but the way he delivered the line was so memorable that I'm talking about it five years later. Even though he only had that one little line, he stole the show. Judy Dench appeared in “Shakespeare In Love” in 1999 for five minutes and 52 seconds and won an Academy Award for her performance. Maybe I can get a Tony if I get that part as a tree. I don't understand people who don't try their best at everything no matter what. If I'm the janitor or the CEO I'm going to do my best to be the best. Maybe I failed, but at least I tried.
The Artwork-Now this was a weird one. I came across it on the internet and thought I recognized him from Fortnite-a game I do not play but my kids do-so I drew it. I thought my kids would be elated but of course they didn't really care. I don't even think he's from the video game. I think it looks good plus I think it's the first gun I drew.
Day 45 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
