Another awesome day of, you guessed it-RAIN! Its not raining yet but its been all over the news how its suppose to be like hurricane force winds and rain starting like at 3pm. I let the kids stay home because I don't want to have to pick them up in stormy conditions. They didn't fight me on it too much. The schools aid it would be an excused absence.
Four of the five new employees showed up for our 3 hour orientation/training/drug testing/background checks this morning. I have a great feeling about two of them, I'm 50/50 on one of them but not so sure about the guy who fell asleep multiple times during the meeting.
Moving Tip-Make sure all your boxes are taped at the top. When boxes are not taped there's a chance small items will fall out and get lost but more importantly for movers it makes them hard to stack in the truck "Tetris' Style.
The picture above was my first attempt at drawing a cartoon character. Bart Simpson was the same age as me when it premiered in 1989 and now I'm six years older then Homer. It was always my favorite show so I'm glad I decided to try to draw him first.
Day 6 and no one in my family has asked why I have not drawn a new picture lately.
