I promise I'm not a weather man and I do not want to talk about the weather everyday on this blog but when a TORNADO come down the street yesterday afternoon, its worth mentioning. About 430 yesterday a tornado came down 14th Ave SE heading east. The entire Tampa Bay region was under tornado watch and warning but you never expect it to be on your street. I was not here, I left about an hour beforehand but my GM was and got just a little of it on video. Its not the greatest quality and his phone died so its not really worth posting. But everyone is ok, thank goodness no one was hurt. It was not some huge F-5, I think I read it was an F-0 or something (I'm sure by the end of the day it will be told like it was the biggest tornado since Dorothy ended up in Oz!). It apparently went straight down the road like it thought it was a car. Me and all the neighbors are thankful because it could have been a lot worse. I'm glad I kept my kids stayed home because usually right about that time I would be driving down that exact area; so I might have saved myself from some problems.
Moving Tip-If you call and get estimates don't necessarily go with the "cheapest" option. You get what you pay for in this industry. I could get day laborers and do it for 25% less but if they break all your stuff and are not efficient, then what's the point? You might not be paying as much per hour but in the long run you will be paying more. I tell everyone-throw out the two highest bids and two lowest bids, look at the reviews for the remaining companies and then hire who your most comfortable talking to over the phone.
The artwork is the first full bodied person I drew. Its so appropriate I'm posting this on a Wednesday. This was still only like the fifth drawing and was still learning. They get better I promise.
Its been now official one week since I drew my last picture and not one peep from my wife or two kids. You must understand me drawing was like a big thing. I sat in the middle of the kitchen while they walked all around me everyday for a year straight. I showed the the completed drawing every night. They don't know I'm writing this blog and I'm not going to tell them until they ask why I stopped drawing.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
