The Fiftieth One 2/22/24

If you read these please start from the first day.

I may or may not have already written about this subject, but after 50 days of writing I'm finding it hard to remember all the things I've covered.

Teachers. To me teachers are one of the best things about America. Growing up there were a few teachers who definitely made a huge difference in my life, I'm so grateful to what they taught me. In my opinion they are extremely underpaid and we are losing them at a pretty fast pace so the ones who stick around are doing it out of the love of making a better society. Besides teaching our children they are like free day care. I realize this sounds shallow but any parent will tell you how helpful this is to raising these kids. 

I had a meeting with my child's teacher yesterday and realized how much they do. But this teacher told me something that just hit home. We were/are having a certain problem (nothing too out of the ordinary) with one of my children and what she said just hit home so hard and was right on the money and I think pretty much solved this problem. She saw a solution that I never even thought about but made perfect sense. So thank you teacher who I shall not name and thank you to any teachers reading this. On a related note-Have you seen how they do math now? She showed us multiplication and addition and it is totally different from how I learned. Whatever.

The Artwork-I absolutely love this one. Its Garfield! I read this comic strip for like 20 years straight. The artwork itself came out great. The stomach is a little square but I love his eyes and the colors match up perfectly. He's just staring at you and you know he's thinking about hating Mondays or eating lasagna.

Day 51 and not a word from my family as to why I abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
