If you read these please start from the very first day
I know it's going to be an exciting morning when on a Sunday I wake up and see two text messages on the work phone-one from 5:03 AM and one from 7:15AM. But the lady at 5:03 was just worried and wanted to make sure we would be there on time today and the other one needed a same day move for her daughter. We were able to take care of both problems with ease because that's what we do, that's how we roll-we get stuff done! Problems arise, we make mistakes (we are after all only human) but we do our best to try to stop any problems before they happen and fix any mistakes that are made. Our ability to adapt and overcome is one thing that separates us from other companies.
I don't think we are going to get a lot of calls today for estimates. Because everyone in the Tampa Bay area has one thing on their mind today–THE BUCS!!!!! At 3pm they are playing the Detroit Lions in Detroit for the divisional championship. I think the Bucs have a hard game ahead of them but I have faith they will win. Detroit is hungry for their first Super Bowl but I'm always of the opinion when it comes to the NFL-it's “Any Given Sunday”. Any team can win on any day. We will know in about 9 hours. GO BUCS!!!!!!!!
Moving Tip-After you are loaded up from any location-do a walk-through every room, shed, garage, patio and any other place possible to make sure the movers didn't leave anything behind. It could be a random box of yours or a four wheeler that belongs to the mover. But that last walk-through will save everyone a lot of headaches. We train our guys to do this but in the heat of the moment stuff does sometimes get overlooked.
The Artwork-Itsa Mario. A rather big Mario but my first at home video game character nonetheless. I remember weaning a NES so bad and my Father said we could not get one, then one day after school I walked in and he was sitting in the living room playing our new system. It was a nice surprise that I still appreciate today. We were not “wealthy” by any definition of the word so when I got older I was able to appreciate what he did a lot more. I think the head and body proportions of my picture are off a little-but not too much. Whatever he is lacking he makes up for with his mustache.
Day 18 and not one mention from anyone in my family as to why I have not drawn another picture after drawing one daily for one year straight.
