If you read these please start from the very first day
Drove up to the shop this morning and noticed a bunch of cars parked in our lots and all over the streets along our building; that can only mean one thing-Army Reserve training. Once a month women and men much braver than myself come here to do training in case they need to get called up to defend this amazing nation in which we live. I noticed more cars than usual then eventually actual families started to park and walk over. I asked them if it's a graduation or something and they told me no-it's a deployment. After a little more digging I found out they are going to somewhere in Eastern Europe (I know the country but was sworn to secrecy) for a little less than a year. This kind of hit me hard because I've seen these same guys training for like two years now and today it just got real. It puts the problems I have in perspective. I'm just like every other ordinary American complaining about the normal stuff (too much work, not enough work, it's too cold, it's too hot, I can't find the newest Stanley tumbler ext.) and these heroes are about to go somewhere way colder then the 43 degrees I’m complaining about to give us the right to do the complaining. So if anyone is reading this and you or any of your family members are part of any branch of our military-Thank You from the bottom of my heart. I truly mean that, without ya'll I could not do what I do and live the great life I have been blessed with so far.
Moving tip-Make sure the beds are re-assembled correctly before the movers leave. After a long day of moving the movers may have accidentally forgot a screw in or a slat is put in wrong or a myriad of other things could have been looked over. I recommend going and sitting on the bed to make sure it is put together to your satisfaction and does not collapse when you sit on it.
The artwork-I think it's clear from this picture I must have got a new set of coloring pencils the day I drew this. You can tell it's the first one to have any type of skin tone beside paper white. As far as colors go, skin tone was always the hardest to match up, but I tried my best.
Day 17 and not one mention from anyone in my family as to why I have not drawn another picture after drawing one daily for one year straight.
