The Sixtieth One 3/3/24

If you read these please start from the first day.

I'm not being negative or unappreciative but being an adult kind of sucks! I think almost every adult in the real world realizes this. This is probably the biggest karma joke in the entire world. Every kid wants to be an adult and every adult wants to be a child or younger at least. When you r a child you just want to do things and go places and act like an adult but then when you grow up and after you've actually done a lot of things, gone to different places and had actual adventures you want to go back in time with NO RESPONSIBILITIES!! Think about it-non bills, no having to be at work, nobody cutting you off in traffic, eating whatever you want, hanging out with your friends all day-sounds like paradise. When you're a child you think listening to your parents is the worst thing in the world but I think I would rather have to listen to them everyday than listen to a boss. At least your parents have your best interest at heart (most of the time). One would think as you get older you get wiser and stuff gets easier but that's not always the case. It's like now that I'm older I just have more problems and  responsibilities. And being a parent, while I'm extremely lucky to be, still adds like a million units of stress to your life because now you're not only in charge of your life BUT 100% 100% responsible for someone else's. 

I understand everyone's journey is different and this doesn't apply to everyone and I do realize how lucky I am to actually have my children so please don't think of this as me complaining, I'm just trying to write a blog post for the day!!!!!!

The Artwork-I think this one is my favorite one. To me this one just came out almost perfect. I was so happy when I found the proper color to shade the 

glasses to make it look reflective. It's just a nice shade of blue. And you can see how he's almost sort of hunched over like an old man. The shading came out just right, the hand around the cane is great, the top hat fits snuggly and the proportions seem perfect. I really like this one. 

Please keep in kind when I drew this I had only been doing art for exactly two months at this point. Before 1/3/24 I had never picked up a pencil to seriously draw anything.

Day 62 and not a word from my family as to why I abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
